I actually do. It is a 10 foot kip hide Raiders. I ordered one from Graeme and was very impressed, so I ordered another. I was just out with it last week and it's a great whip. Hear that Graeme? 10 foot kip hide natural tan :roll: :rolling:

ooops my mistake, it is natural tan and not saddle tan. And yes I meticulously wiped it down and let it dry before applying the shellac!

Great job Dusty, Oildale you ( we) are certainly lucky to have such talented people to helps us keep our prized possesions in good working order. Replaiting the whip with new strands seems like the best way to repair without losing length. I had never heard of it.

Well, here goes the after pic. Saturation of Pecard plus a new fall, dyed ringknot and finally two coats of shellac. Overall I am pleased with the result. The whip is a bit on the light side, but the stiff transition gives it a good action and really helps to move the 12 foot length to produce a nic...
