New Joe Strain whip. What CS should have been.

Post by Parttimeteacher »

Hello. I just received my new whip from Joe Strain today. I wanted something like what he provided to the production and not just a version of the Jacka whip. After talking to Joe, he made me a whip that would be what his looked like if they darkened the knots and all on the ones he sent. He said it was the only CS whip he'd ever made with the traditional 3 pass knots.

Hey Parttime, I have one of these myself. They are indeed epic. You are lucky to have had Joe make you this one. He hasn't been taking orders at least through the website for years. I'm sure you will have fun breaking it in, now that the good weather is back!
Cheers

####, that's a beautiful whip. How did you manage to get an order in? I thought he stopped taking orders... Reminds me of my grail that got away; had Strain make me one back on 2008 that was a similar CS darkened look, but lost it when an ex took it with her... :Forrestal:

What a dirty double-cross! May she walk into a Hovitos spike trap.

I emailed him just to ask if he still made whips and he had the skins on hand.

That is a stunning whip! I have to say though, it looks so tightly plaited that it makes me wonder how it even cracks, it's THAT good! Love the color too. You should be proud of that beauty!
