LED's don't have the same color temperature as quartz and would appear very different on screen, Mutts light was a custom 500 watt quartz light. The flashlight would need to have the same type of lamp (with lower wattage), for the light to look correct in the same scene.

I like the Noel Howard 100% wool, they look like my vintage pinks I bought for color reference.

Re: Indy's flash light. New Gear.
Great analysis work "RaiderZee"! I came to the same conclusion holding mine up to my TV screen and comparing them, but I couldn't do screen grabs. It would make sense to me that the prop department found this model of flashlight and painted it to look like a vintage one. The paint pattern ...

Re: Shawl-Necked Cardigan
For those interested, Duluth Trading Post has the Woolpaca cardigans in stock again, these are VERY close to the MOTB cardigan.
I don't know if it is posted on their web site yet, but you can order by phone. Mine arrived last week and I'm wearing it now, very warm and cozy.

Sorry for posting a live auction  , I thought I had posted the closed auction page where I had bought my flashlight. I already tried to get more information from the vendor on where the flashlight was made, but got a very short "no information" reply. It wouldn't surprise me if the L...

Re: Indy's flash light. New Gear.
This is what I bought, when I hold the flashlight up to the screen shot, every ripple and bump looks the same. Minus the paint. I think I can see the place for the pull out hook and the very small flat spots around the lens. The switch is the same, but the button is red. That could have been painted...

Let's see, wash, dry, shrink to size 21 1/2.
Yeah, that's it! Then it will fit!
Well, maybe....

Well, the older I get, the lest OTR I become! Yeah, at some point, that tapered waist just stops working for you! I really enjoy my Wested shirt. I got my boots back from the cobbler today, the new leather soles look great! :D And the best part is it only cost $42.00 even! \:D/ Can you believe that! The cobbler removed the first layer of rubber and glued a 1/8th inch thick Eagle Flex leather sole to the entire bottom, then he reattached the h...

Puppetboy, I probably wear my shoes out fast from pacing back and forth too much while on the cell phone. (my kids make fun of me and try to get in my way). I know every one is wondering how well these boots are going to hold up, so here is an update on my first batch boots. Re: Coyle's "Outdoorsman's" Boots
I have a pair from the first batch and have worn them almost every day since Jan 2 for 12+ hours a day, I don't work in an abusive environment, but I would call it more than average use. The sole on one shoe has just now worn through the first thin layer which seems to be a little soft and is now at...

No they didn't RCSignals, the seams were misaligned at least 3 inches. The strange thing is that they looked like they hung perfect on the hanger. I have been studying the screen shot that VP posted and just realized that the bands look painted white as compared to the ends that look like chrome. I don't believe I have seen any flashlight with that type of design.

Re: Indy's flash light. New Gear.
The flashlight is very bright in the sceens and the lamp that Mutt used had a very bright quartz light used for filming, so the flashlight may have been modified to accomodate a higher output. From what little experience I have shooting film, it takes a lot of light for correct exposures, I really d...

I have been waring my first run shoes since Jan 2 on a daily basis and they have been great!
