Re: HUFVUD HATMAKER - SWEDEN
Ah! I am so pleased that Mikael has posted here. I can attest to his skills as a hatmaker and craftsman. I sent him my Adventurebilt Henry for restoration and he did a superb job on reblocking it and cleaning it. His work on my har can be seen here http://www.hufvud.com/blog/renovation-project-i-adv...

Re: Post your Adventurebilts here!
Does it count to post an AB Henry here?? I hope so! Either way, this thing was built for adventure! This is it most recently. I had reblocked it a few months ago and it has kept its shape quite nicely while taking on new characteristics. *No artificial aging here has taken place.* http://i1268.photo...

At least cram a diary into one of those front pockets!! Haha! I am just kidding. This is so exciting. Could we get some details? Obviously the jacket is Wested, the shirt? The tie??
Cannot wait to see more.

Thanks for the great responses, guys! It is just nice to share my experiences with the gear after having spent so much time on here reading about the gear. A lot of the gear holds up and just adds another levels of authenticity to the films.

Glad you liked it, Jens! Yes, I am a still a bit jealous of your lid that you wear into the field. But yes, thank you for being a big influence on my choice. Also, I should be going to Berlin next year for a conference so let's make a plan.

AB Henry 4 Year Review
In April 2012 I visited the University of Cambridge to attend a conference at the MacDonald Institue of Archaeology. I was meeting with Jens to help him go over his paper on Gobekli Tepe before he presented. It was an excellent lecture and everyone was delighted with him. I noticed that he was not w...

Wow! Thank you guys for all the great responses! In honor of this thread, I decided to pull out my HH USW's Legend pattern prototype that was never put into production and prepped it for cooler weather wear. Woah! I am so honoured that my post has got this kind of reaction. Please post pics, Michael...

Thanks Jeff! They actually have a single set of pleats so that is a bit more in line with it the original. I just know they are a bit sand/mustard colour and I know thats a bit more of an LC look.

when this wears out? Man, this will last you about 70 more years easy. Sorry Holt! Re: Wested Raiders HH 4 year review
I am so thrilled to get the Michaelson approval! You are right, the horsehide will probably look better than me by the time I have to replace it!! Now that I am working in commercial archaeology it doesn't get too much wear as I need to wear hi-vis and such but I still do wear it often.

Thanks indymassilia! And yes, Holt, this is the jacket. It is my only Indy jacket that I own. I keep telling myself that when this one wears out I will buy the West LC in HH. Would I specifically have to ask for your style collar on it?

Wested Raiders HH 4 year review
I have owned my Wested HH for 4 years now and I thought I would post some pics and detail how it has held up over that time. When I was working on my MA in the UK, I visited Peter at the Little Barn in Kent in 2012 and I had him measure me for the custom Raiders HH. I wanted an HH because Jens has o...

Close enough trousers
I have owned a pair of Wested trousers from 4 years ago and I did like them but I was thinking about picking up another pair of close enough trousers. Re: Aldens in UK or EU?
Thanks guys for responding to me so quickly. It is a but infuriating how much we have to pay for Aldens over here- and even the Frye Walter is not even available here!! I am thinking of just sticking with Red Wing Roughnecks.

Aldens in UK or EU?
So my Red Wings have worn out and they need to be re-welted which is going to cost about as much as a new pair of boots. I thought I would see if anyone on here knew where to find a pair of Aldens (or even the Frye Walter) in the UK or even post-Brexit Europe.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Questions about Wested jacket
So I had been giving some thought to buying a motorcycle and I thought that getting a Wested would be a great idea for a motorcycle jacket. I had bought a Todd's about a year and a half ago in a Medium size and it just did not fit me right at all and the hide would be too thin for a bike jacket. Are...

Sizing Questions re: Todd's and Wested
Alright, so for the past few days I have been scouring COW trying to find some answers to sizing questions. I want to buy a Todd's Indy Shirt and I am leaning towards a smal but the neck size seems like it could be too tight when it is buttoned all the way up for a tiw or bowtie. I am 5' 11' and abo...

Re: Indiana Jones Watch
I think that is watch would be more than suitable. Much older than Bond's 1940's Omega and in my opinion captures the spirit of adventure.

Okay I know there have been a lot of posts concerning this piece of gear. I was out shopping today and I walked by Roots and I saw the perfect cardigan.
