i agree with you strider....i don't see hanger marks on my westeds. this is because the leather's elasticity/weight ratio is not an issue. if you're stable is filled with jackets that are quite heavy and made of more pliable leather, hangers is not an option....unless you want to replace those too. ...

Holt, first let me say that that jacket looks great on you sir and like i said previously.....that is one of the best hide offerings i have seen yet from uswings as far as colour and finish. I can tell that this IS a raiders cut. you can just tell from my pictures. it fits just like the raiders fits...

The wire that they use has a purpose. It's to keep the bell of the sweatband. This way there isn't a gap in-between felt and sweatband and helps to seat the sweatband into the hat. If you remove the wire this will happen but most couldn't tell the deference. The higher end sweats use plastic tubing...

as an extension to KT's second option, instead of opening up the flap, you could sew a reinforcement layer in there to stiffen up the whole flap. that too wouldn't be visible at all. ....just go with the TOD look and shove a sankara stone cloth wrap in there so the deformed pocket looks natural with...
