I give you my word, that the seal which skin I bough would have been shot (again: not clubbed) no matter if someone would have bought the skin or not. - I do have a conscience too after all. And it's certainly not a baby seal, for two little reasons: too little meat and it's forbidden to shot them....

First, I would love to see a stitched-in liner logo in any form; the printed logo on mine almost totally disappeared last month when I washed my liner! Second, I really like Michaelson's proposal of a choice of logos on the liner. One thing to consider would be that Raiders HJs apparently had the bl...

Personally I'd love to have one of the early 80s/late 70s poets that Fedora and a couple of other folks here have. The ones that were obviously blocked on the screen accurate blocks are beautiful hats. Still, even if I had one I'd save it for special occasions and treat it with great care. My AB wou...

I have decided that the hat in those scenes was gray. No, I'm not going to back it up with any evidence, I've simply decided that it must have been gray. That way, I can refer to my gray AB as my Seaplane hat. Otherwise, I've have to call it my Cairo Nazi hat, and I'd just rather not think of it in ...

A good observation and valid point Erri. On the other hand, I think Marc and yourself also raised a valid point; most folks here don't want a hat that looks like the Raiders hat at its most tapered, as most of us here think it's rather ugly! Hi all, It would take some extraordinary new evidence to convince me that HJ had some sort of secret block, extremely similar to the poet block we know they used in the early 80s but ever-so-slightly-different, which apparently was only used in the Raiders hat and no one has ever found an example of...

Steve, One question; is the AB deluxe in the photo being worn, or is that a shot from it sitting on a table? In any case, several people have observed that Ford's main hat in the desert scenes fit quite snugly, and that tends to alter the front/back taper. Also, the Raiders hat shows major back tilt...

I think this effect has to do more with hat fit and how much of the skull pushes forward against the headband into the hat.
