very nice hat. what bash did you decide on? i went with the peru/raven bar bash from todd which arrived almost like a pre-SOC bash (meaning, just a couple more tweaks and it could of been a rough SOC....so i guess todd bashed it in the pattern that was worn on the plane from nepal to cairo ???? ). i think this HJ looks best when it is kept symetrical like yours and i have to admit that yours looks alot better on your head than mine on my head. keep the lines clean and she'll age quite nicely i think. mine kinda lost its raiders look with the slight taper that occurred. if this happens, i would suggest bashing it as a TOD or a TLC style hat and you can't go wrong.

even with my new AB, i still love my HJ. it feels soft, its comfortable. i just couldn't use it as an all weather hat and it didn't have the raiders look that i wanted (which you have captured quite well). no matter what they say about the HJ, i like 'em.

Todd has knack for getting a better Raiders look out of the current HJs than anyone else can. Good purchase.

And welcome aboard, Bryan!

Your lid looks great, Bryan. Very nice shape indeed! I've also always had a soft spot for the Herbert Johnson brand... being the original maker and all... and as Antone said, Todd does know how to bash his...
