Re: R.I.P Peter Botwright

Wow. I have not posted here in ages.
Just happened to think about Indygear and saw this on the front page.
My first Indy jacket was a Wested...back in 1997.
He answered my every email.
I remember thinking, "Wow, this is pretty cool."

exactly. one of the unique things about the Raider jacket are the slim fit sleeves. A TN Indy 1 owner said that they are more form fitting than the Indy4 they have, but, while that is true, the Indy 1's sleeves still are not as slim as they seem to be in every pic I see from the movie. wasn't there ...

that last pic posted by mmrosy best illustrates the form fit of the raiders jacket and the way the pleat/back panels are unique to this jacket. I know the jacket is a bit pulled forward, you can still see how much higher up the back the pleat begins as compared to other jackets in the movies. The Ra...

Digital pics taken from DVD's do not necessarily show what is true to life. Things do tend to get smoothed out and washed together - especially the details. Nice jacket. The "left back" pic shows the collar to be a near exact cut of the Expo collar. While I think this leather is no doubt as good as lamb can get, it may not be the best Raiders leather one could use for a Raiders jacket as seen on screen. Lastly, there are a few very very minute...

I must say, the TN is getting better. That's a nice looking jacket. Cargo pockets look alot better - flaps may be a little too scalloped, but that is being much too picky.
