Thanks for the tip on the really tight ones. I collect a lot of military surplus rifles and pistols. I have been lucky so far that the holsters just needed some good leather conditioner to restore or if unused to soften up to allow the firearm to fit. I literally made up some muddy salt water and left my bag in it in a rubbermaid in the summer heat for a day, then let it dry naturally in the sun. Scuffed it a bit here and there. I've since gotten a new strap but I wont distress a MIJ strap. No way no how! Where do I get muddy salt water? :-k lol...

Nice! Do people panic when it rains there? When we get snow it's no big deal but a heavy downpour will freak people out and they instantly drive like it's the end of the world. We get most of our moisture from snow. I just consider it to be even better hat weather.

So you are saying I SHOULDN'T be excited to receive it? The seller told me it was signed by the real Indiana Jones....so I bought it. He knocked 5 bucks off so I figured I had to jump on it. Michaelson told me it was a bargain.

Very nice! I have a German K98 "DOU43". It was my first rifle I ever purchased. They are fun shooters! Mine is a Russian capture so most of the markings are ground off and it has Russian electro stencil marks on it but that all adds to the history I guess!
