Hey guys, I'm throwing the towel in and going to have my WWI hand ejector cut down to 4" and have the sight modified to match the Bapty ( ramp sight) any suggestions ?? Also where can I get the sight ?? Thanks

I'm indifferent, Stembridge might have had the gun in inventory or modified it to be somewhat matching the Bapty, I don't consider the Stembridge the " Hero gun ". What I am positive about is that it's an US S&W hand ejector could be M1917 or commercial model.

Not sure whose gun Indy uses but the pistol he uses is a p-38, lot of those in the movie. First time I see Indy use two hands to fire a pistol though.

Filming started in LaRochelle France, Tunisia, then Hawaii (Peru scenes), and pick ups in the states ( Pan Am clipper). I would say probably, for collectors especially, the .455 which was produced for the British military in WWI but in lesser numbers than the .45 which was issued to U.S. and British/Allies alike.

I have an Everyman and I LOVE IT !!! For a rabbit factory fedora you can't beat it, mine is quite stiff but reacts to brim manipulation and just looks the part. I have an Adventurebilt by Steve Delk and a couple of John's other fedora's and this always my go to especially if I want the Raiders look....

Ha... I remember back maybe in the mid to late 80's you could buy these Garands surplus for $25 in the ads in the back of Guns and Ammo and magazines of the sort.
