Re: Wested Washed Lamb
I don’t put large things such as my wallet, phone or keys in the front pockets. It will stretch the leather and deform the pockets. I usually keep the flaps snapped shut. I would only insert lighter things such as tickets or whatever. Other than that, no issues. That goes for both my washed lamb and...

Re: Wested Washed Lamb
I have gotten a dozen jackets over the years in all the leathers and the Wested washed lamb is to me the most screen accurate and amazing looking leather I have ever seen. The leather is thick and tough enough. It does not have the cardboard body armour feel of a goat, cow or horse. It is very soft ...

Re: Wested Washed Lamb
Yes I got one and it looks and feels fantastic. Closest to the Raiders in my opinion. Unfortunately it is not very tough so I don't wear it for the rugged everyday wear. I don't even put anything in the pockets. Nice one to have.

I read somewhere that shoe polish was used on the original raiders jacket.
Has anybody tried using dark brown shoe polish on their predistressed cowhide?
Does it change the color permanently?
Would it ruin the jacket?

Re: Measuring for a jacket that actually fits
The SA jackets do fit weird in my opinion. They have a special look about them for sure, but I recommend, for a normal real world fit, the Wested signature series. They fit like a jacket should and still have a very faithful Raiders Indy look. I wear it for every day use. I think it has to be loose ...

I was just comparing the photos with the jacket and the color is way less reddish in real life. Must be the light blasting on it and the mobile phone camera. Much darker in person I must add, really changes color depending on the lighting.
