Re: Looking for a Colt New Service replica
"Refuse to sell to my state" may have been an overly arrogant remark. They can't legally ship to my state because of local laws - they actually have this posted on their website in the fine print.
It doesn't matter in the long run because they don't have the mold anymore anyway...

Looking for a Colt New Service replica
Hey fellas, I'm looking to buy a replica of the Colt New Service revolver. Rubber, resin, metal will all work. Also as a note, before anyone says anything - I already tried Western Stage Props, and they refuse to sell the rubber guns to my state. Are there any other sources available? Thanks mates. ...

Just how sqaure can a block be?
I'm making a new, all-purpose dream hat block for myself, and I've got a bit of a problem involving the dome at the top of the block. I'm REALLY into square crowns (like the hat on the ROTLA movie poster), so to start of I made a block with a square top and sanded down the edge to a rounded finish. ...

Instead, the big fight scene is Li w/Chinese Broadsword vs. Anthony with European Hutton Saber. Interestingly enough, I figured out that the blade used by DeLongis was a Patton saber. I'm a big fan of the Patton, so I was thrilled, but a bit put off by the fact that such a high-quality film would m...

Oh, I wasn't aware that you had already gotten the baby bull. Very nice...I'm thinking about getting one of these. I didn't literally mean for combat because I don't honestly get in street fights that often, but moreso for choreographing and filmmaking. I suppose I could keep it under my jacket, but...

Boiler, the rear curl in the brim was a little difficult to do correctly, but essentially what I did was just bend up the rear sides of the snap brim more severely with water, and ran my hands along the sides to set in the curl. Spenyk, the hole just came from abuse. I never grabbed my hat by the cr...

I'm a big time LC fan. I have had two LC hats, a Fed III and a Fed IV (Fed III got a hole in it so it's been retired). Wait time for Todd's bag strap?
I've been hearing alot of talk recently that Todd has been flooded and is slow to get orders out.
Should I expect this if I were to order a bag strap from him...they appear to be in stock...

New self-protrait with whip
I figured if anybody could appreciate this, it was you guys. http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o43/Lutso/Kev_whip_stylized.png I set the camera in the field on a tripod and had a friend of mine run out to where I wanted to be. I set the aperture, shutterspeed, exposure and got the angle down, then ...

Where to get the Canadian version of the MKVII?
I know I've been spamming these boards about MKVII's over the last couple of days, but hey, you guys enjoy it right?
Does anyone know where I can purchase a Canadian MKVII? I hear the Canadian bags are more of a tan/yellow color than others, and this is what I prefer.
