Leather Duffel/Suitcase in KotCS (Pics)

Post by ksteryous »

Hello everyone,

I've spent the last several hours scouring over the forums wondering why I haven't discovered this site until now. Great stuff.

I have a question regarding a scene early on in KotCS, where Indy is packing just after being 'let go' from the University. He is packing in a very smart looking classy leather duffel, and I was wondering if anyone had a clue what it was, or where to purchase one. The first pic is the open duffel, and the second is of course is of Indy carrying the closed duffel.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Kenton

Scott
That is a nice looking bag, but it doesn't have the brass lock/closure. And I just love the rich patina and chestnut coloring of the bag in the film.

I also found these, but they're still not exact either, and they are super expensive coming from Swaine Adeney Brigg.

So the search goes on....

Yeah, Scott up there beat me to the Duluth AWOL bag. I've been meaning to pick up one of those for a long time!

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I would carry this bag any day, too. It's incredibly handsome, but it comes with a price tag of about $3300 US Dollars from Swaine Adeney Brigg.

I was hoping to find something more in line with a mere mortal's wallet.
