I'd hit them now, at least with one coat, and I have always used the regular dressing. Mine were the pumpkin colored Aldens, but have darkened up nicely over time.

Conrats on getting them Croft! Question: how comfortable are they to walk in? Do they slide around when you walk? Be sure to walk on carpet. Alden will not take them back in they have been on bare flooring.

No problem! The cool thing about Berkshire Chase is that they make custom spectacles. I.E., I wanted a pairs of Pantos like Indy's, but round frames do NOT suit my face.

I too prefer the color. The main thing I didn't like about MBA was that you had to dye it another color. Too khaki for me. When I was a kid I thought Indy's shirt was white. Yet another plus for Cabela's...that stone color. Outstanding, Peter!
