Does anyone know if these crests are able to be removed, and
re-attached to a new liner??

Don't think so. That's not the idea, anyway... the adhesive on my crest has "worn out" and the entire sticker has come off the liner.
Can't see any way to reattach it except gluing it back on...

Hmmm. Mine is hanging on tough. I wonder if there is a way to clean the liner, without damaging the crest?? I have some mild stains around the liner, and I think it's color run off from the sweatband.

My fedora most likely has the same stains your talking about. I'm not sure if there is a good way to clean it or not without damaging the crest.

When you do reattach it, you could stitch it in with fine, burgundy thread. That is what whipwarrior did to his, and what I plan to do in the future to my HJ crest.

Peace,
Cliffhanger

P.S. There is mention of this somewhere buried in the old posts, along with some pretty good pics of whipwarrior's Poet's stiched-in crest.

Thanks for the tip, cliffhanger. I'll have to browse through the old threads... I really want to know more about the stiched-in crest.

[EDIT: Got it... some nice pics on whipwarrior's web pages - link can be found in http://www.indygear.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5734]

Cheers,

Are you going to print one out and stick it in your lid? :P

Nope. But if you set a 19" monitor to 2048 X 1536 resolution, it's almost exactly on spot.

Hey... Turn it into a wallpaper and you'll have your very own HJ monitor. (Don't try a reblock.) Presto! 8)

If you really use that resolution on a 19" monitor, you're one cool customer.

PM me offline. I would like to know what monitor and video card you are using.
