One dollar shirt
How's this for only paying a buck?

I found it in a local vintage clothing store. 100% cotton and feels great. My guess is that it's from the 50s or earlier. The grade of material doesn't feel like anything made today. The only down side is that it's missing the top collar button and one of the shoulder buttons is cracked. But for one U.S. dollar plus local sales tax, I'm not complaining!

Thanks! I kind of feel like the Indiana Jones of gear finding lately in that I found a high quality Beaver Blend hat for 4 bucks in a Goodwill, which I turned into an Indy-style lid. (See the fedora forum under "makeover.")Then I found this shirt for a buck. Then I eyed a Smith & Wesson Brazilian revolver with clips and all for extremely cheap (which I'm trying so hard to scrape the cash up for)...
It's like going on my own "archeological" expedition!

As far as being a French shirt, the English printing tells me "non." My initial thought is that it is a military shirt, but I can't find any stamps anywhere on it, other than the tag which tells me it's cotton. I'll have to give it a good look over again. If I find anything on it, I'll let you know.

Okay, I won't tell you it's just my size, but it does, in fact fit perfectly. Just like the Goodwill hat is my size.Don't tell me it's just your size, too.
