You read the subject heading - so tell me... What is turning a hat? I have not heard this one before, and I've been in the Indy game a LONG time.

Wow, it seems you have also been out of it for a LONG time - basically these means putting the bash in hat off centre or 'turning' the hat before doing so. There is a theory expounded by 3thousbucks that this was the case with the Raiders hat and while some agree and some don't it is yet another subjectivly useful tool in acheiving the look.

It is up to you to decide if you believe in the turn. It is basically like the Holy Grail around these here parts.

You can get all the same features with a straight blocked hat. All you have to do is turn the hat. What is all this about blocking it crooked? What kind of...

Nevermind.

French, you gunna stick around this time?

I had no idea that had to do with the whole "turning" thing! I thought we were just acting like idiots in that photo!

Shows what I know, Huh?

Oh, and Yeah - I'm going to be sticking around from now on. Last semester in grad school will be over soon.

Well, that blows my theory about turning hats. I thought it was going to the Dark Side.

Maybe 3thou isn't Sith after all....

No wait.

Wrong Lucasfilm Franchise.

and Grad school? Bink, tell your wife to run! Run while she can!

Seriously, I've found grad school to me much more engaging and fun than my undergrad career ever was.

Well, and that too! Oh and Baphy (back left) had his own thing going with the backwards jacket. Not sure what theory he was aspiring towards

Wow French, not knowing what we were doing in that photo all this time, it made it much funnies if you knew what we were doing at the time. Oh well, it is great to have you back in the community, you have been missed!

She's taking classes at the local community college to get back into the swing of school and she's already loving that, so I think grad school will be good for her. Challenging, but rewarding, seeing as she'll likely get a high paying job from it and probably be my sugar momma after that.

I'll second that one. Although, I have just started my thesis, and I may eat those words.

Welcome back French. I remember pouring over your website when I first got into this. I consider it one of the contributing factors of my obsession. Thanks man, thanks a lot. :?

Peace,
