Also it must be said -- it is a bummer wearing a huge lid. Makes the odds of finding a vintage hat that would fit, extremely slim. I never, ever, ever see anything over a 7 1/2.

I hang my hat on the top corner of my cubicle at work, and use my Squier Strat in its stand at home as a hatstand -- if I'm gonna play guitar I just put the hat on, it helps me play the blues better. ;-)

A quick question: I love my Fed IV but it is a teeny bit. . . fuzzier than I might like. So I am debating pouncing it down a little with some superfine sandpaper. Any advice/warnings/experience in doing this? (Including "don't do it, are you nuts?!?")
