I don´t have an A-2 by Wested, but I saw one in Peter´s shop. I thought it was quite an awesome jacket. I think the one I saw was in horsehide. Sorry, I don´t have a photo of it.

The Fit

I´m a 10 1/2 and the 405´s I received recently are 10 1/2 as well. I find them to be a good fit if not a tad large, good for a normal to thicker type of sock. I´d order the size you are. My experience is it´s pretty true to size. I´m super happy with mine.

Actually the lining is cotton in the body and silk on the sleeves for my lamb. It´s a thin jacket but I seem to sweat in it for some reason. Go figure (shrug).

I know what you mean. When I slip on my Indy Wested Goat, I "feel" like Indy. I sort of feel like I walk different, talk different, and have a sense of inner adventure that I don´t get with any other piece of clothing that I own.

Minor Point

I tend to think the sleeves are just a bit too long IMHO. Ford´s sleeves appear to come down to somwhere above the knuckles. But if they work for you, that´s all that matters. Great jacket... I think the HH is awesome!

I´ll third that. KT Templar is the best. He let me check out his gear when I was at Wested, try some fedoras, crack a whip or two, and gave me a MKVII bag strap adjuster thingy that I don´t know quite what to do with yet, but I´ll figure it out!

I´m quite amazed, really, at how long the sleeves look in the last photo. I felt mine were a bit long but after seeing those images, I´m a shade shorter than Harrison´s on my goat and about the same as his on my lamb.
