Looking for a photo

Post by bobjones »

Sorry to bug the board with this, does anyone have the link to a hi-res version of the photo from CS of Indy walking with Mutt after getting off the plane in South America?

It is a shot of him in the new jacket with the big round bag slung over his shoulder...I tried to search in the forums but couldn't find it...thanks.

No, it was a few moments later in the film IIRC, where Indy is walking with Mutt under an archway, just before Mac appears behind him.

Absolutely, thank you so much. This is a special photo IMO b/c it shows the sleeve and jacket length pretty well. Makes for a good measuring stick.

Its very interesting you mention that, its one of the reasons I ordered a G&B 44 Long instead of regular.

The other thing I've noticed and it is probably my eye, but the pictures of the TN jacket people have been posting seem lighter than the jacket Ford is wearing in this and the other publicity pictures found here:

http://www.theraider.net/films/indy4/gallery_01.php

In the photo Demaroth posted, it could be the lighting in the shot, but it really seems to me that the jacket shade on Ford is pretty dark, and very close to the dark seal of the G&B and Westeds people have posted.

Regarding the darkness of the color, you have to rember that for motion picture lighting the subject is lit sometimes from the back with fill lighting on the front. Therefore the jacket will read darker. Nobody I have seen on the boards here shoots their jackets lit from the back.

Quite amazed

I´m quite amazed, really, at how long the sleeves look in the last photo. I felt mine were a bit long but after seeing those images, I´m a shade shorter than Harrison´s on my goat and about the same as his on my lamb.

One of the things I specifically like about this jacket is the length of the sleeves. After getting mine, they're perfect, and I LOVE the jacket.

... and I just ordered a second today. Thank god I don't have a SO right now, or I'd be dead! ;)
