I am a satisfied owner of a grey Stetson Racine and a tawny Stetson Stetsonian hat. I am quite pleased with theses hats. What this tells me is that they really DON'T want to make Indy hats. Not at that price. I'm not sold on the ribbon I see in the picture either. They also show a picture of Eddie Baron working with one of the hats. I do not remember the last time I saw Eddie in the Store.

That taller bulge is the result of two pieces of leather through the buckle. Holt's photo looks like he took it with just one strap thickness (partially installed) running through?knibs7 wrote:Nice strap, but the screen used one has more of a "bulge" between the buckle

I also vote for #3. At less than half the Alden price, that's a deal. Btw what about E widths?
If cost is an issue, there are close enough options available from what others have posted. High quality gear costs less in the end.

I recently decided it was time to learn some new tricks on something that was a little easier to handle than an 8 ft Indy style whip. Lion Tamer is to blame for this. I have to agree with Franco on the 10 footer as far as costume appearance goes. You need to look a some of the Indy clips and photos to see how many times it coils around. While I enjoy using my 8 ft whip, the 10 footer looks better coiled up on the belt.
