I actually just had the opposite. I took out my Todd's, which I wore all last fall and spring, and now it seems way too big. Now, I may have a lost a bit of weight, but it looked ridiculous on me this morning. It's tough because I love that jacket!

Yep, my Aldens heels are (or were-they're pretty worn now) exactly the same. So if it's a design flaw, Aldens are flawed as well.

Same experience. I've worn mine every day and each day they're more and more comfy. I couldn't care less that they're "indy" boots...I wear aldens for my back, but those need a resole soon. So, I was hoping Todd's would be another viable option and so far they're awesome. Thank you so much...

Yep, had my Aldens right next to them. It's a bit tough to compare bevause my Aldens are sooooo broken in and naturally distressed and the Todd's are so new. Got mine and they seem really nice. They fit well...a little more snug than my alden's, but I'm sure they'll break in nicely. Oh, and the smell is wonderful...just like the old shoe store my dad used to take to when I was a kid.

Wow. It's been awhile since I purchased any Indy stuff, but seeing how I wear my Alden's every day because they help soooooo much with my back pain, I'm going to give these a shot. Hopefully, they will support my back the same way...at least while I have my Alden's re-soled! Thanks, Todd!

I don't know, I'm in south-east Washington, and it has been in the 80's and dry as a bone. It's only 70's today, though, and perfectly blue skies. But I guess that's Washington for ya.

Update! Well, the jacket has been hanging in my garage for months now, and I did the whole sit by a fire thing, and well....it still stinks. Now too bad, though. I've worn it around outside, and I don't notice the smell anymore unless I jam my nose into the sleeve. The inside doesn't stink at all......

Sorry for the lack of an update. Well, I thought the smell was pretty well gone until it rained. Once the leather got wet, the smell came back...and quite strong.
