OK. The re-flanged hat arrived yesterday. The brim is nice and it is a bit stiffer. Mr. Penman says that the re-flanging process reactivates the existing stiffener.
Looks good and looks like the kind of go-to-meetin' hat it once was.

Don't worry about it email68, It will take around 2 months for the hat to conform to your head. When new, hats are like this... overtime they smooth, get character and conform to the owner's head.
