Mk-VII vs. Mk-VI?

Just wondered if the Mk-VI was as durable, useable, etc. as the Mk-VII. I'm pretty sure I can get one of these bags from Endicotts, and it looks pretty good for me, as I would probably be using it just for hauling stuff around in the woods.

It doesn't have to be exact as you are going to resize it anyway. I'm just missing the point of having an exact pattern. Thanks for the tips. I think I'm going to buy a MkVII that comes with a cheaper strap (by the way, which one is better: Todds or WPG?) and then make a better quality strap on my own time using the purchased one as a guide.

Working buttons on the cuffs will be optional. I've been working for quite a while on Horus cufflinks, but am having trouble finding someone that will produce the right quality at the right price.
