LL Bean pants

Post by D. Blank »

Has anyone bought a pair lately? They don't seem to carry the style and color I used get (TA 25771 taupe) I was wondering if any other color is close enough for Indy pants? They have dark khaki and eucalyptus.

The taupe color in those LL Bean trousers has been discontinued, to the best of my knowledge. I have a pair of chinos from them in Heritage Khaki, and they look very good for the early scenes in Raiders and a few ToD scenes as well, at least from the best I can tell.

Of course, here's a linky- http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/stores ... &feat=dp26

I'm pretty sure the eucalyptus will look greenish in person.

L.L. Bean just clearanced out the Sepia too... :(

The Dark Khaki is really too light, but if you don't mind having a smaller contrast between the shirt and pants that's the best they've got off the rack unless you don't mind dying them.

The dark khaki looks darker than the heritage khaki, does anyone have both and can say which looks closer to "raiders"?

Is there any other place making "close enough" pants better than ll bean for about the same price?

Thanks for the help!

L.L. Bean now has another type of pants available in Taupe...

They're polyester, which isn't too great, but they have the pleats, the right color, AND the back pocket flaps.

Something to consider, anyway... :D

Nice. I'd get some if they went on sale for about $20.
