My Wested lamb is about 3 years old, and I still love it. In L.A.'s climate, it's the perfect weight for a fall jacket.

Another option is to go to a place that sells Stetsons (or any other brand) and jot down the size AND maker -- this can vary amongst makers (I was told that Italian sizes run big). That way, if Fedora knows you take a 7 1/2 Stetson but, say, a 7 3/8 in some other brand, he can adapt yours accordingly.

I'm quite pleased with my Jaxon Iconoclast, which you can get for around $50. Granted, it's not 100% Indy-accurate (comes with a teardrop crown) but it is a fur felt. I've worn it in a couple of heavy rains this year, too, and it's kept its shape. http://www.villagehatshop.com/jaxon_iconoclast.html

Success!

Well, the saddle soap got rid of 95% of the paint, I'd say. The remainder is really only visible if you know where to look.

I can vouch for milk removing ballpoint pen (from fabric, at least). I've even used non-fat milk and it took out a stain in seconds. Just rub it into the fabric and viola!

I don't know about leather, though.
