I have the D rings on my goat jacket. They slip all the time and I even have them turned so the flat edge is out and they are doubled back through. It probably only slips now because of my backpack at school and seatbelts in the car pushing against the straps. I personly like the look of the D rings...

Sitting Down

Does anyone elses jacket bunch up a lot at the bottem and push out a lot at the chest when you sit down and the jacket is zipped? I was just curious because it is not the most comfortable thing in the world and has kind of bugged me since I got my jacket.

My Right boot just started clicking a few days ago. Also the stiching on the moc toe is becoming frayed for some reason and a stich at the top of the boot has come out of its hole. Other then that the aldens are the most comfortably shoe I have ever worn.

I've got some Huberd's shoe grease that my grandfather recomended to me. It darkened the boots and seems to be working well for keeping the shoes soft and waterprofe.

Has anyone else used Huberd's?

Well how do they know what one of there three lengths to send when all they ask for is the waist Size? I'm curiouse cause I ordered a pair due to the fact they were cheap. The size I ordered was a size 30 but the length i am hopping will be at least a 31 or 32 :(

How often should I put products on the aldens. I just got mine in the mail so should I order some pecards and put it on right away? yup its fraying but at this point it is fayed about half way down the belt so I am getting new ones. I just needed some info so I could possibly keep it from doing that in the future.

I have worn my wested goatskin in the rain many times and it has not affected it in the least. I havent added any kind of water proffing or pecardes and the water just seems to sit on the surface just like a rain jacket.

Looks like it has tapered from front to back. From side to side maybe a little bit but not that noticable to me. But I wouldn't take my word for it im not that great of a judge when it comes to hats.

Hey Jess It was in the rain for over 4 hours and got soaked through on thursday night. After I got out of the rain I tweaked the shape of it abit and set it on its crown to dry. By the next morning it was dry and was looking great. I am very glad it holds up so well in the rain.
