Re: What choice would Indy make?

To add another layer of gun history, there does exist a handful of British Government Contract 1911's that they had Colt chamber in .455 Webley. These were used predominantly in WWI. I think if Indy uses a 1911 in wartime, a British Army friend gifts him one, knowing his appreciation for the caliber.

Re: Federation V?

The Fed V notion was just conjecture. Based on how they phrased that little notice I thought it was a possibility.

And I don't think the price got bumped. It's fluctuated for sure, as the exchange rate does, but I thought it was right around where it is now.

If the Moc toe bears a passing resemblance to Alden 405s, even if you have to squint, I'll be tickled pink.

$200ish for a good quality leather boot is a steal and almost unheard of these days. I've slowly become disappointed in my Keens of similar pricing.

From what I gather, as I'm yet to own one though I'm on the list, the Fed IV is a tank of a hat. The unstoppable force and the immovable object.

Good luck getting a brown one. They seem to be perpetually sold out (can't imagine why :-k ;) )

Frankly I barely make it with the half.

If he was given a Raiders-type assignment during WWII but with a few more people/equipment, bordering on being an "expedition."

I think Indy would stick with the revolver, but he wouldn’t go for the 45 ACP moon clips. There is such a thing as .45 Auto Rim. It's a .45 ACP cartridge, with no taper at the primer end, and a suggestion of a rim, so it fits in the cylinder without moons. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/com...
