Pocket Bull Rules!
Sheesh. I step away for a couple of months to move, start a new job, etc. and I come back to hear that Kyle is feeling a bit unsure of the market for his Pocket Bulls. Since I've just stepped inside from an extended session with my Pocket Bull, I have to tell you all how amazing these little whips a...

long handled bull
Well, after 2 sessions with a Peter Jack 5' stockwhip, I'm realizing that I'd rather have a long handled bullwhip. Call me crazy (I've been called worse...), but I just can't get over the fact that I'd rather have a bullwhip. Maybe it's the Indy thing... In any case, are there any recommendations on...

... and as the owner of the new Pocket Bull #15, I must say that the quality on these little whips is outstanding! It's fun to watch Mike Murphy's tapes and to try to do some of his tricks with the Pocket Bull - I'm surprised at how many I can (occasionally) pull off. By the way, Kyle - nice 'hawk -...

Peter Jack's Snake
How do you think Peter is re-inforcing the handle base? On a snake whip, would you insert a handle or just reinforce what is there? Just to "think outside the box," (doesn't everyone love cliches?) what would, in everyone's estimation, constitute the ideal short whip? The parameters would ...

Snake whips, extra firm
I've been re-reading some posts on IndyGear and WhipEnthusiasts about folks who use an extra bolster (first 6" or so) in their signal whips or snake whips in order to make them feel more like a small bullwhip. Since I'll be moving to suburbia soon and don't want to scare the neighbors (at least...

What is 'Florentine?'
I've heard about 'Florentine' routines involving dual snakewhips in a few Web pages, posts, etc.
So... What exactly is 'florentine,' anyway?
Thanks!
Jeremy.

Thanks for all of the info. I do have a Steve K (21st Century Whips) 6' bullwhip that is quite sweet - cracks very easily now that it has broken in a bit and will serve me very well in the winter. Anyone who is looking for a nylon bull may want to check him out. I was just curious to see if anyone h...

Nylon Stockwhips
Since it is the end of December in Wisconsin, I can only imagine that I'll be seeing some snow sooner or later. I'm looking at nylon stockwhips by Greg DeSaye and 21st Century Whips, but I have no idea of how good the quality is. Anyone have any nylon s'whip recommendations?
Thanks!
Jeremy.
Thanks!
Jeremy.

You really should take a look a Stenhouse as well. The price is certainly more reasonable and the quality is top notch. There should be a link to his site in his .sig and on IndyGear. Note that he has gotten some notice from David Morgan, which is pretty impressive. ...now that I've said my piece I ...

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...
Since the midwest is in the middle of a period of unseasonable warmth, this obviously doesn't apply right now. Nonetheless, I want to make some informed decisions before I go and ruin a nice Stenhouse by getting it wet (in the rain, snow, etc.). I've done a Pecard treatment on the fall and thong. I ...

Targets and the Underhand Crack
Morning all, While I patiently await the arrival of the Stenhouse DVD, I'm looking to fill my time with a few basic cracks. I'm getting the hang of the overhead, forward and sidearm cracks, but I have NO idea how to do an undehand crack. I'd certainly appreciate any basic info! Also, I'd like to kno...

Certainly a fair request... The large sized pic is here and the smaller one is below. http://webpages.charter.net/hausers/jeremysnake-1.jpg Again, it's pretty cool to deal with folks like Paul who really love their art and make you excited to try something new. Now I just need to start saving for th...

Another Stenhouse Masterpiece
Just wanted to relay a quick story. I'm fairly new to IndyGear and whip cracking in general. After browsing a few posts, I decided to buy a Stenhouse to learn "the art." I ended up in a fairly long exchange with Paul about the type of whip to buy, etc. Lo and behold, I got a fantastic 4' s...
