MK VII as a disc golf bag?

Has anyone used their MK VII (or replica) for a disc golf bag? obviously the center divider would have to be removed, but I just wondered if anyone else has had this idea? I think the front pocket might make a nice putter pocket?

Re: Looking to replace MK bag: Todd's or Magnoli?

I have one of the original Mag's bags, used it most every day and it lasted very well for about 3-4 years (it would probably last a while longer, but). I finally decided to replace it and it happened to be about the time the new Mag's bags came out. I have been very pleased with the new bag so far a...

Re: Compliments on the general gear

I have had several positive comments on my Penman Raiders Rabbit, of course. But, I have also had a few positive inquiries on my Magnoli bag. The most recent was an older fellow at Best Buy who walked up to me out of the blue and asked where I got my bag. I told him it was a replica of a british gas...

Re: Stetson raider II?

I am a little unclear here also, I have an old Stetson (circa 1991), Officially licensed that is pure rabbit with a white liner. Is this just a version of the Temple? Regards, CaptainKatanga P.S. I have since upgraded to a Penman pure rabbit Raiders, have worn it to work nearly every day and love it.

Re: Height of the hat

Yes, my Mom has commented on my Penman Raiders being tall. She says she guesses she always has my Grandpa's (her Dad's) hat in mind and that it had a real low crown. Overall though, most people can't get past the normal, "Hey, Indiana Jones" comment!

Re: The Penman post 'em up Pages....The Adventure Continues.

A couple of weeks ago I received my Penman Rabbit and it is sweet. It is definitely many steps above my officially licensed Stetson that I have had for 20 years. It is nice to finally not have that teardrop bash on top of my heed!! The Penman feels tough but soft and I am sure that I will wear it jo...

Re: The Penman post 'em up Pages....The Adventure Continues.

Waaaahoooo...I got a call today from Mr. Penman saying that my Raiders Rabbit is ready to be shipped.

Can! Not! Wait! \:D/

Finally a replacement for my approx. 20 year old officially licensed Stetson Rabbit (not that I don't still love it ;) ).

Re: Hat question

Welcome, I bought a Fed IV deluxe for my son from hatsdirect. You will have to bash it yourself as it comes open crowned. You can find plenty of info on bashing on this site. It has turned out to be a pretty good hat and it was in the price range that you have. Hope you find just what you are lookin...

Re: Opinions of Todds Shoulder Bag vs. Magnoli's

I have a Magnoli's bag that I have used nearly every day for the last three years and it has been great. When it wears out, I will probably order another. It was a bit stiff to begin with but quickly softened and became "my" bag. I don't have a Todd's bag but do have a Todd's strap and it ...

Re: does the turn "fall out"?

Cheers Bink!! :TOH: I thought that CaptainKatanga was asking whether the distortion due to actually wearing the hat turned would subside over time as the hat got 'used' to the new shape of the 'off-centre' oval i.e. eventually, turning the hat would not distort the brim. :-k Do the effects of the t...

does the turn "fall out"?

Hello "Cow-ers",
I was wondering if, when a hat gets broken in, "the turn" ever falls out? i.e. does the brim start to lose the swoops once the hat adjusts to "the turn"?

Thanks Dangerman or should I read that in the same tone as someone who would say, "Yeah, it sure is...uh...something!", ;), because I sometimes look at it and say that to myself! Anyway,

Re: Post your Officially Licensed Indy hats here!

Well, I'm not absolutely sure, but I seem to recall....ummm....mouse droppings in the hat box. :-0 It's really just a couple of pretty small chunks on the right edge of the brim. Anyway, the hat is still in pretty good shape for being nearly 20 years old. The felt is pretty soft and fairly floppy.

Re: Post your Officially Licensed Indy hats here!

Here are pics of my Stetson licensed purchased circa 1990 (while I was in High School) from an Indy fan club catalog I believe. The bash and ribbon are disgusting, but the rabbit fur doesn't feel too bad and it's nice to have in the winter. I hope to upgrade at some point. http://i53.tinypic.com/jt7...

re-attaching magnoli bag disc

Hello all, I've tried a couple of different things with varying success, but so far have not been able to get the disc on my Magnoli bag to stay on my Magnoli bag. I would like to say that I have been VERY pleased with the bag and use it most everyday. Thanks in advance for any advice and Kind Regar...
