It's spelled Penman, but it's pronounced, "Throat-wobbler Mangrove!"

(Anyone get that reference?)

If not, I'll write what I was originally going to write:

It's spelled Penman, but it's pronounced, "Brilliant Hatmaker"

Took my father-in-law to the train station this morning... he remarked about how he'd been getting appreciative looks from the ladies while out and about in his Penman.

Waaaahoooo...I got a call today from Mr. Penman saying that my Raiders Rabbit is ready to be shipped.

Can! Not! Wait! \:D/

Finally a replacement for my approx. 20 year old officially licensed Stetson Rabbit (not that I don't still love it ;) ).

A couple of weeks ago I received my Penman Rabbit and it is sweet. It is definitely many steps above my officially licensed Stetson that I have had for 20 years. It is nice to finally not have that teardrop bash on top of my heed!! The Penman feels tough but soft and I am sure that I will wear it joyfully for many years to come. Great hat! I recommend a Penman to anyone looking to buy a new hat! :TOH:

Well, after half a year I finally got some decent sunlight pics of my moss green Raiders, and guess what? It still looks kind of brown in the photos. I think this is a felt that does not like to show its true colors. At least, not to amateur photographers. :? But, now that I've actually "field tested" it somewhat, I'm once again blown away by how amazing this thing is. It's still the most comfortable piece of headwear I've ever owned, even now that it's too big after some weight loss. And probably in a couple of weeks it will have a little baby ToD brother, woohoo! \:D/

All right, all right, here you go. These two probably turned out the best. Looks green compared to the brown of the backpack, but then it's surrounded by the much brighter green of the trees, so... y'know. Well, the color does look pretty good in the first shot but washed out in the second. *shrug*

And yeah, it's "green-ness" really comes out in these photos... I think so, anyway.

Man, that hat looks AWESOME! I have a moss green "Penman" on order, which should be arriving sometime around Sept., and seeing these pics has just made my wait seem a whole lot longer! :(

VERY cool! :TOH:

By the way, you are lookin' slim, my friend! You should add these pics to our other thread!

Keep up the good work, and keep wearin' that sweet hat!

Great hat Psychic...

I like that colour, although I think I'd find it hard to pull off for myself...

John just told me that my CS Travel is going to be started sometime in July so I may have something to show here in a couple of months too! Can't wait in all honesty... This thread really helps me see what I'm waiting for... John's a #### of a creator.. :TOH:

Nebraska....

Dude, yours was one of the ones that made me choose that colour actually....Fox's as well, and I originally asked John to make the crease more "Raiders" like, but asked him this week to alter that to a full on CS Style...Since if I want the Raiders crease I can add that in myself after I get the hat...The CS I have from Steve suits my face I think, so I went for that... ;)

Your photos are great...I must admit having snuck back to this thread when in need of a "fix"..Almost too many to choose from though... :TOH:
