And after I find out how wonderful they really are, it'll be easier to convince my wife when I need to get a new pair one day! :D Thanks, gang! bink You know, if Mrs. Bink is anything like Mrs. C (don't know why she would be, but isn't that the cliche thing to say?), you should just get two pair no...

When not in stock, I have been told by the SF shop (and read here several times) 12 weeks. You know, I wonder if that's just kind of a disclaimer. Surely it wouldn't always be 12 weeks. When I said you would have to choose for yourself, I just meant that this is such a subjective thing. But, save Mi...

I agree with you, Cab, to a point. I will always post the weight consideration, as I've read and received in the past comments by folks who ordered, then returned these boots BECAUSE they were heavy, and nobody told them. Sure, they're heavy. They're also work boots with steel shanks. They're SUPPO...

You must choose to do this for yourself and disregard all things you hear, except for the part about being fitted by someone who knows feet and doesn't just sell shoes. This should almost always work. This is the most important...They're your feet. You know folks, the absolute worst case I can think...

Great looking shirt. I especially like the minimalist tag. Wested's tag is very classy, but in my opinion, much too much for a shirt of this weight. Looks itchy. The less tag the better. If what we see is indicative of the WPG tag, that'll be nice. I think the t-shirt makers really have something wi...

I wouldn't suggest getting the fed too floppy. Because, when you do, you get this: http://www.hertzing.com/indygear/Fedora/observation_brim_deform_extreme.jpg ...I look forward to getting a PBBM or an Optimo one day to really see what can be done. I would imagine that particular weight of felt woul...

Also, I have a question about the first pic, with the three pairs of pants. Is the Wested version the pair at the top of the pic, under the other two pairs? Or is it the pair lying on top of the other pairs, on the bottom of the pic? -GCR Looking at the construction (i.e., belt loops placement), We...

I must admit, the Wested tag on that shirt looks really nice. Very Classic. I agree. You think Peter would be offended if we requested not to have the British flag tag, though? Has nothing to do with the flag. I don't mind that one bit. It's just a lot of tag(s) for a shirt. Again, no offense meant...

I received, just this week, two pair of flat's from the AldenShop. For the interim (and the Japan trip - I am home now, btw), Mrs. Cab bought me some - actually relatively attractive - round laces at Wal-Mart. They stayed tight, tight, tight walking miles and miles over the last nine days. But I lik...

Hey did you do that just by changing the color of the text to match the background? That's pretty cool. It's like disappearing ink or something. Wait a mintue...I can't find a color to match. Your wife is not upset. Maybe disappointed, but it will be short-lived. I would wager that you are feeling far more down about it and having a harder time with it then she is. Let it go. She probably has. Take Flatsy's advice on the jacket inspection. If all is well, then wrap it up nicely, and put ...

Don't sweat Wested. I would bet 100% that it is simply too soon for your tracking number to be recognized. Further, with the holiday, it is difficult to say how Airborne is operating. My first order was never reported to me as having been shipped, much less did I have a tracking number. It arrived 4...

Great acquisition. For starters, I recommend lacing them up all the way. I can't imagine you are getting a proper fit not lacing the ankle. If your strings are too short, get some longer ones. Insoles - I'd say no here. Really, you need to do what is right for your feet as you feel or as a podiatris...

Back in the late 80s, when I was in the Army, I carried the same gas mask bag. I wish I still had it for my gear. Where did you find that one? Army/Navy store about 30 miles from me.
