Re: How to dull the brass buckle??
I posted a 'how to' on here about a year ago. I made a mix of malt vinegar, window cleaner and bleach. I then took the shine off the buckle with a scotch pad then left the buckle in the mix for a couple of hours. When I took it out It had the green oxidization on it. Then just buff it up to bring ba...

OK, all WG kit owners, here's the straight low-down on the lanyard rings: I have found rings that are pretty close to the size and shape needed: http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/pp176/zlpace/ML-2461-T.jpg These should arrive to me by early next week. I will cut a slot in the ring and pry one side...

Thanks for the kind worde TR and RZ. The post is just a dome nut ground down to size with a hole drilled right through then a bolt with the end cut off screwed as far into the dome nut as it will go. Re: RaiderZee/Wade Egan Webley Kit Owners
I made this for my Wade WG. It's not perfect but should do the job. It is all metal construction apart from the black plastic ring that will allow it to swivel the full 360 when fitted. I only had a couple of ref pictures and finished making it the before TR posted the very helpful close up shots. T...

Interesting. I was not aware that you would need a certificate. I do hold a licence for shotguns but that might not cover it. I have purchased deact's before and never had to have any form of licence or certificate. The last one being about five months ago but maybe they have changed the rules since...

Re: My new Webley WG!
Well it's been over a year since I quietly backed away from having my gun shipped. I just received an email from the company asking me what to do with the gun. Their words were that it would be EXTREMELY expensive (450 pounds = $718!) to have it shipped to me. They also mentioned that they could au...

It's normaly a big hall that has a drinks licence. Some people go to them instead of a pub as the booze is normaly cheaper. You can hire them for private events too.

Hi Jake. I use nylon whips most of the time as being in the U.K it is wet most of the time. I can not add much to the thread as I am by no means a whip expert but I can say that I much prefer the bb loaded core. It seems to roll out real nice and feels more like a hide whip. On an item of this price I do not believe you would have to pay any customs charges. You only have to pay if it it over a certain amount and I believe that to be about the £30 mark. You can check all this info online if you type in 'customs charges for the U.K'.
