IM 5'7 around 160 and I went with the medium and I wish I had gone for the large. Nothing ever seems to fit right, I go from too tight and small to a shirt that looks too big.
Aside from that they seem to size smaller than most shirts so Id recomend getting one size larger than youd usually get.

I went ahead and treated it, its quite a bit darker now. I guess thats OK but I wasn't really looking for that effect as much as I was with protecting it.

Well I went ahead and ordered myself a pair of the dark ones from 6pm. They didn't have ones a 1/2 size smaller than my normal size so I got a 1/2 size smaller in wide, hopefully they will fit OK...

The rings seem to be firmly attached but Im guessing that if the strap got wrapped about the bag enough to shred the strap like that it must have pulled the rings quite a bit. I would recomend that the strap is removed before putting it in the washing machine! I have a leather strap on order from To...

Heres my MK VII from WPG after it went through the normal wash. If i were you I'd avoid both steam and water and try to bash it dry. Worked just fine for me and much easier to undo any misshapes...

Well the hand washing did't have much effect so I went ahead and tossed it in the laundry with some Woollite. Well the smell is mostly gone and the bag and the stamp both held up. But I left the original strap on and it got shredded, I assume by the valve on the side so i suggest removing the strap ...

Does anyone know how to get the must smell out of a vintage mark VII? I recently got one but it smells pretty bad. What if I stuck it in the washing machine? Would that damage it in anyway?

Next time you receive a package you don't want you should just refuse the package and the postal service will ship it back. Saves you the trouble of repacking and having to worry about keeping things as they were found.

Can anyone point me to a shop that sells both pecards (for my jacket) and felt fur protector (for my fedora)? I’m cheap and looking to save on the shipping cost of buying them both separately....(shipping for the hat spray was 7.00 for an item that cost 7.00!!!)

Thnaks for the input LemonLauren... I see you know your stuff. I actually prefer my indy gear to be useful and tough gear rather than SA prop type stuff so I think I'll check out the Winrich whips. The man is very good with a whip too...

Are you refering to the shipping on WPG? Mine was 10.50, which seems awfully high for one bag....
I dont think I could bring myself to pay shipping that doubles the price of an item, 10.50 was almost a deal breaker....

I just ordered an original MK VII from WPG but the leather straps were out of stock. Can anyone direct me to a resonalby priced strap for it? Also how should I go about replacing the original strap? Do I cut them off and somehow attach the leather strap or just tuck the original strap into the bag?
