The hack feature on this watch is very cool also! If you don't know what that means it is so you can stop the second hand on the watch when you set the time and that way soldiers could synchronize their watches for military tactics.

Thanks DR Ulloa! I had it in a drawer for years and this thread made me realize it was part of my familys history that I needed to get in good working order and plus it is really neat to carry a watch that my great uncle carried. I got a ton of compliments on it at work last night also!

Maybe Magnoli sees it as an homage..... I have no problem with it. He doesn't try to pass it off as an original. Most replicas of ANYTHING are exact or as close to exact as the real thing they are replicating. So why not the 1942?
