Re: Are there any others with my same problem out there? AB
EDIT: In retrospect, this is off topic. I have taken what I wanted to say to PMs. Let's keep this thread tidy, and keep it open.

Re: Are there any others with my same problem out there? AB
Still waiting from May 2008, when I paid in full. Haven't heard anything from Steve since 2009, despite many attempts to e-mail from multiple addresses and a couple of phone calls. Like others, I have moved in the last 5 years, and have never managed to get a confirmation from Steve that he knows th...

Re: How to contact Mr. Delk ?
I am new to the COW but I placed a order in April of 2009 and haven't heard much from him. Now I know about all his health issues. A number of us are in the same boat. At least now you get some sense of why things have been delayed for so long, and that you aren't alone in this situation. It is str...

Re: Adventurebilt Status Update Anyone?
Summary: We don't want the hats over Steve's health. We trust that Steve will make good on the orders if he is able to. We are glad that there is a plan, even if the worst should happen. But, we don't know if he even has our order anymore. And only he can tell us if he does. This is a genuine and re...

Re: Adventurebilt Status Update Anyone?
As advised, I have put "URGENT" in the heading of the last three e-mails, the latest being today. I am only e-mailing about once a week, from the address that I used with paypal and to which he has previously responded. As yet I have had no response. I have no interest in harassing Fedora,...

Re: Adventurebilt Status Update Anyone?
Is there anyone who regularly or semi-regularly talks to Steve who might be willing to carry our concerns? If we could create a list of people with orders who simply want confirmation that he still knows who we are, then one message could get through for all of us. Anyone willing and able to be the ...

Re: Adventurebilt Status Update Anyone?
Guys, I understand that life happens. I know Fedora works hard, and I know that he has been through rough times lately -- a good deal rougher than I'd have wished on anyone. I like Fedora, and have extended a lot of trust. But surely you must understand that him posting that he lost a bunch of order...

Re: Adventurebilt Status Update Anyone?
I only saw his June update this week, and I've sent a couple of e-mails to check on the status (and to make sure he remembers) my order. I have received no reply, here or by e-mail. I've got to admit, seeing him say: I have completed all of the hat orders that I had a back log of, but I also have mi...

Thanks for the updates, everyone.
Seeing threads like this helps me from getting too nervous about my own order, from May 2008. I know that it really has no bearing on when I'll get my hat, but it is comforting to know the wheels are still turning.

I don't know why this thread has taken such a turn, but I'd rather it not be locked down. There is no accurate way to estimate how long it will take for Steve to fill an order. It depends on how many orders were placed when, what size you wanted, probably what bash you wanted, and how he is doing pr...

Indy Gear, Six months later...

So far, never. My fedora is something I think too much about when I wear it out and about; if at all possible, I keep it sitting next to me or on the table so that it doesn't have the chance to be stolen or damaged. Maybe a couple of years down the line, I'll be more cavalier about the whole thing; ...

I think so. In the thread stickied up at the top of the Fedora section, Marc says: Steve sent some of his rawbodies, to make sure I could match my hats color wise (they become lighter depending on how much you pounce them). So I finished off some of Steve rawbodies using my sweatbands while matching...

I'm thrilled that I'll be wearing a nicer hat that Ford himself. LOL I gather both Marc and Steve made hats for the film, each in their own style, and even switched up the hat bands for some of them so that they could never know for sure whose hat was in which scene. Genuine class. That said, congr...

Well, I'd say the biggest hints are in the drip clues. Archaeology sometimes requires that you dig deep into the past. Remember, Kevin and Endicott's have had a long history with this forum... How long, I wonder? And as I said before, the DRIP CLUES really helped me when I was SEARCHing for answers.
