Of course Raiders....the icon, the legend.....my second fav is LC. I really didn't like KotCS jacket (or the movie)....seemed too big and baggy on Harrison in my opinion. I like to see Tony Nowak tackle a Raiders jacket someday.

Raiders with ToD a close second, then LC and finally KoTCS falling in 4th position...

Raiders in first - can't really avoid that. But if I had a second choice it would be Crystal Skull. Others have said they don't like the baggy look, and while I agree it takes some getting used to, I've really come to like it. :junior: -M

I can't vote for one. I love the Raiders jacket but I really love the LC jacket. The LC is by far my favorite looking jacket. Now if he had worn the LC in Raiders then I would say that the Raiders jacket was my favorite. It's a toss up, 50-50.

Temple of Doom, blah, and the yoke seam is halfway down his back. Ridiculous.
Crystal Skull, looks like a 3XL on him and also looks to 'new' like an off the rack jacket with fake distressing like they tried too hard to make it look old. That's just my opinion.

Temple of Doom! If I could have a jacket that looked like that (I don't care about the construction, I'm just talking about the aging), it would be the best one for me. I love the sleeves, and the rest of the distressing is awesome, too!

I personally like the way the LC jacket looks on Ford best, but with the new movie out, for the first time we have the opportunity on getting a jacket made to look exactly like it did on Ford, with none of the debate and second guessing... (or at least very little of it ;) )

So my vote goes to KotCS, since I like the fact that that style is available to us exactly like what we saw on screen.

Raiders and KotCS are neck and neck for me; I voted on KotCS just because I like the baggy look slightly more.

I voted for the Crystal Skull jacket. I really like the pre-distressed hide and the fit of the jacket. I never thought I'd like a loose fitting Indy jacket, but the CS jacket is too #### good looking, that it changed my mind! Also the fact that we can get the exact jacket made by the same creator, just makes the jacket even more kick-###!

This very question haunted my every waking moment recently while I was trying to decide which style to order from Westeds. In the end, the Raiders jacket won out by a slim margin, so that's the one I voted for.

I love the Temple of Doom Jacket the most, but I am saving up the money for Raiders jacket as that would be a great place to start.

TOD Jacket is the one.

For me, it looks too much like something Harrison picked up at a local Macy's. :) .......whereas in Raiders, that jacket looked like it was part of Harrison for years.

I like the CS jacket the best. It looks like a real world jacket. I think the Raiders jacket looks like it was made just to be a costume jacket, where the CS was made to really be used.

I voted for raiders... but surely Indy looks at his coolest at the end of ToD! Everything he is wearing looks like it has really been through the wars. The costume never had that integrity in KCS... at ANY point IMO.

I must remark about the CS Jacket: It looks like there is no distressing on the jacket whats so ever; just that the skin colour changes in places.

Indiana Strones; good comparison shots BTW. If you did not get them from the Archives then maybe the Moderator can place these shots on a new comparison page; just an idea. If I have anything critical to say about the shots is that I would have got a TOD shot that also showed the length of the jacket as this is a major factor regarding the TOD; OTHERWISE: GREAT EXAMPLES

Yes, you're right: simply I didn't find a better pic in my hard disk! If you (or anyone) have a better one, I will be happy to modify my comparison image.

Well done Indianastrones; you have got the shot. The pic shows that the TOD jacket looks tighter in the sleeves and accross the shoulders.................................spot on.

I voted for CS, a more heavier and thicker leather. I like it very much!
LC is my second favorite because the distressing is, in my opinion, too much exagerated to the hems.

Definitely LC hands down, due to the fit and the distressing. I always felt this way, but just having watched LC again last night removes all doubt for me.

Guess I'm kind of the opposite. I thought the distressing was a bit too much for me. I voted the Raiders style.

I like the raiders jacket best. I agree that while the distressing was appropriate for later films, the jacket didn't look as good.

2 TOD
3 KotCS
4 LC

That's how it shakes out for me, but of course they are all great jackets!

Here is a total newbie question......Other than the latest tragedy of a film, weren't all the jackets basically the same Wested leather jacket style?
You must forgive me. I come from the Star Wars world where I am a Vader fanatic and the differences in his suits are easy for me to spot.

there are as much differences in hardware, zippers, poppers, pocket sizes, pocket flaps, pleat depths, yoke heights, jacket length, sleeve stitching, hem finishing, etc....between the 3 movies as there are nuances in vader's helmets throughout the trilogy.....and also the last time he was on screen with the first symettrical helmet.....in that tragedy of a prequel :P

Dude.....Don't get me started on that piece of dung helmet. :x I could go for hours on how much I hate that thing. I am more an ESB person myself but its funny, I find myself a more Raiders fan of the Indy movies. Odd that they hit a homerun first with Indy and second with SW.

Hmm, really tough question for me! Raider was my favorite of the films so I have a soft spot for that jacket based on that alone. I own two Raiders jackets.

I love the distressing on the LC so mad props to that one!

I really like the loose fit look of the CS jacket - I agree the jacket doesn't look as world worn as the others do in their respective films.

The ToD jacket never made an impression on me the way the others did. Not that it's a terrible jacket, just that it didn't stand out for me inside or outside the context of the movie. Can I just vote for my least favorite? ;)

If put on the spot and if the vote is for the jacket I would choose for myself and I could only have one it would probably be CS jacket now. It seems to have been culled from all of the high points of the previous jackets and made more "real world" ready. Over time it would get a truly worn look just as my Wested Raiders has gotten but with the looser, more comfortable fit that I like.

For me personally I like to wear the LC style, but the Raiders jacket looked to be the most realistically worn/aged jacket. It gets my vote.

The jacket from CS, as others have said, looked brand new and very.. blah. Even his Aldens looked like wardrobe hit them with some 60 grit sandpaper and thought they looked good. All his gear looked too new and/or newly distressed in CS.
