I can't vote for one. I love the Raiders jacket but I really love the LC jacket. The LC is by far my favorite looking jacket. Now if he had worn the LC in Raiders then I would say that the Raiders jacket was my favorite. It's a toss up, 50-50.
Temple of Doom, blah, and the yoke seam is halfway down his back. Ridiculous.
Crystal Skull, looks like a 3XL on him and also looks to 'new' like an off the rack jacket with fake distressing like they tried too hard to make it look old. That's just my opinion.

I personally like the way the LC jacket looks on Ford best, but with the new movie out, for the first time we have the opportunity on getting a jacket made to look exactly like it did on Ford, with none of the debate and second guessing... (or at least very little of it )
So my vote goes to KotCS, since I like the fact that that style is available to us exactly like what we saw on screen.

I voted for the Crystal Skull jacket. I really like the pre-distressed hide and the fit of the jacket. I never thought I'd like a loose fitting Indy jacket, but the CS jacket is too #### good looking, that it changed my mind! Also the fact that we can get the exact jacket made by the same creator, just makes the jacket even more kick-###!

I must remark about the CS Jacket: It looks like there is no distressing on the jacket whats so ever; just that the skin colour changes in places.
Indiana Strones; good comparison shots BTW. If you did not get them from the Archives then maybe the Moderator can place these shots on a new comparison page; just an idea. If I have anything critical to say about the shots is that I would have got a TOD shot that also showed the length of the jacket as this is a major factor regarding the TOD; OTHERWISE: GREAT EXAMPLES
Paul.

Yes, you're right: simply I didn't find a better pic in my hard disk! If you (or anyone) have a better one, I will be happy to modify my comparison image.Doeindy wrote:If I have anything critical to say about the shots is that I would have got a TOD shot that also showed the length of the jacket as this is a major factor regarding the TOD;.

there are as much differences in hardware, zippers, poppers, pocket sizes, pocket flaps, pleat depths, yoke heights, jacket length, sleeve stitching, hem finishing, etc....between the 3 movies as there are nuances in vader's helmets throughout the trilogy.....and also the last time he was on screen with the first symettrical helmet.....in that tragedy of a prequel

looks like we see eye to eye in more than one area thenAlex wrote:Dude.....Don't get me started on that piece of dung helmet. I could go for hours on how much I hate that thing. I am more an ESB person myself but its funny, I find myself a more Raiders fan of the Indy movies. Odd that they hit a homerun first with Indy and second with SW.

Hmm, really tough question for me! Raider was my favorite of the films so I have a soft spot for that jacket based on that alone. I own two Raiders jackets.
I love the distressing on the LC so mad props to that one!
I really like the loose fit look of the CS jacket - I agree the jacket doesn't look as world worn as the others do in their respective films.
The ToD jacket never made an impression on me the way the others did. Not that it's a terrible jacket, just that it didn't stand out for me inside or outside the context of the movie. Can I just vote for my least favorite?
If put on the spot and if the vote is for the jacket I would choose for myself and I could only have one it would probably be CS jacket now. It seems to have been culled from all of the high points of the previous jackets and made more "real world" ready. Over time it would get a truly worn look just as my Wested Raiders has gotten but with the looser, more comfortable fit that I like.

For me personally I like to wear the LC style, but the Raiders jacket looked to be the most realistically worn/aged jacket. It gets my vote.
The jacket from CS, as others have said, looked brand new and very.. blah. Even his Aldens looked like wardrobe hit them with some 60 grit sandpaper and thought they looked good. All his gear looked too new and/or newly distressed in CS.
