The newer wested Novapelle cowhide is a good compromise. It is lighter in weight. You sure? Mine seems extraordinarily heavy. I don't mind except when I'm travelling though. Any chance of weighing it? I wouldn't class my one as heavy at all. All I had to use was a bathroom scale so it may not be th...

Technically I guess few American archaeologists were artifact thieves. Mostly because by the time we showed up, the Brits, French, and Germans had stolen about everything that could be moved! And having spent Saturday before last with the Assyrian stuff in the British Museum, I'd have to add that t...

Oh, c'mon, on if you want to be REALLY controversial you should point out that he's not really an archaeologist, he's an artifact thief. Good point :D I guess watching Indy dusting off bits of pottery and shovelling stuff for 2 hours wouldn't be much fun... Alex Technically I guess few American arc...

OK, let's get really controversial - if Indy were a real person he probably wouldn't have a leather jacket at all! ...ducks for cover... He's an archaeologist so he's mainly working in hot dusty conditions and the last thing he wants is a hot sticky jacket. He'd probably be dressed more lik...

If you are in the right frame of mind, goat can distress very well. Wait a minute--your jacket reflects your frame of mind? That could explain why mine looks old and tired. I recently added a goat to my stable (just before a quick trip to London, actually) specifically because it doesn't distress m...

Yeah, I'm looking at the XL. I wish to God I could still wear the G-8. I know this jacket polarizes a lot of people in the Fanbase, but let me tell you---That was one #ell of a jacket. Who says Goat doesn't naturally distress? Mine did. It took YEARS, and the cut is just awesome. Lots of adventures...

I use both. The cream over the entire boot, but Pecards on the areas that flex the most. Pecards provides lubrication for the leather fibers to pass by each other in an area that has been flexed, so you don't have break through at a cracked area. Regards! Michaelson I'm thinking of trying the Pecar...

My suit jacket size is a 41 but in an Indy jacket that is too small. In fact, if I zip my 42 Wested up it is just a tad tight in the chest but I would not want to go any bigger. I think a suit jacket can be tighter in the chest since it generally does not close very near to the collar and hangs mor...
