Comparing Westeds
My brother came down to visit this week and we started comparing our Raiders style Wested jackets. Jeremy has had his Wested since 1999 or 2000 and I just got mine in September of this year. We were pretty surprised how much difference there was in the jackets. All things being equal but the year of...

I got home from work around midnight and found I had a packaged waiting on me. It was my 8 ft. Indy whip from Gus! I haven't had any time to really have some fun with it but it is just in time for Halloween! It looks great too! While I definitely plan on getting a DM, this is my first whip and am ex...

Strider, I just saw that pic and had to put it up...God I love those movies. Yeah and as far as my jacket, I put brown Pecards on it as you suggested and yes it definitely makes the jacket look SO much better. I need to take some new pics (without the flash  ) The jacket, in my opinion, looks ...

(no offense intended, JA). None taken. I am very pleased with the way it has come out. Like I said before no one has to wear it but me, so I distressed the jacket to my own personal satisfaction. I can say however, that just in natural light most of the scratches are not visible, the camera flash r...

Thanks Kap, I'm definitely going to do that! As far as some calling it a TOD jacket, which is great because that's my favorite (the first I was old enough to see in the theater, I was 4), I think its kinda funny that I used a LC pic as a general guide: http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e188/jagordon...

If I made marks that I didn't like, I found that moistening those marks would darken them a bit-- I didn't know about Pecard's then. Jack, Yeah after I took the pics I noticed that there were some lines that I didn't care for too much, they were more noticeable in the pics with the flash than in pe...

Wested Sleeve Length
My Wested just arrived last week and it is great but with one problem...the sleeves, for my taste, are a little long. Is it possible to alter the sleeve length through a leather shop or seamstress? I want to get this issue resolved before I start to distress it.
Thanks in advance
