Well...I'm looking long and hard at that photo, and I stand by what I said before. If Erri_Wans hat was tipped even only 1/4 of an more forward, we wouldnt be talking about this. Those hats are nigh identical. If I showed that photo to 20 people, I bet you 19 of them would agree that they were eithe...

Notice how the HJ front crease bends outwards before bending slightly back (just like Indy's), whereas yours goes striaght up and then bends back further. I think they ARE the same, but what you are seeing is a bit of an illusion. Erri_Wan's hat is just not tipped quite as far forward as the photo ...

I'm most likely going to follow in your footsteps though, and buy a shirt from Magnoli very soon. Good choice. You wont be dissapointed with the shirt, trust me. Just placed my order for my 1st new hat since my Stetson years ago. I'm excited and a bit nervous, dont quite know how to explain this purchase to the 'other half'. I got the brown beaver of course, 7 3/4! I have an enormous heed ! "That boys heeds like sputnik, spherical, yet pointy in places&...

Magnoli, are you there?
Anyone else had trouble getting in touch with I.Magnoli? I've tried pm him twice I think, and one e-mail on his website and still no answer. It was nothing private so I'll just post here, I guess, in the hopes it catches his eye. I just want to know if there might be any kind of discount for buying ...

Cobbled shoes
I've always thought that shoes with nails in the soles were trouble waiting to happen. With as fast as I wear down normal shoes, I would be having Aldens re-soled about every 5-6 months. :? I have to walk about 7-8 miles per day all on pavement, so my shoes wear out quick. How long do Alden soles la...

Is there an adventurous story behind your arm cast? I wish. Its just your ordinary work related stress fracture. I had a fiberglass splint on it for 3 days while I waited to see a specialist. Color/material
The color is stone, as recomended by Magnoli. This is exactly the color I would have chosen If I were making Indy shirts. In most of the pics it looks too grey, and in the last one, although it shows more of the 'khaki' shades, it is still a bit too khaki-ish. It is, in person, somewhere in between....

Lining
The lining is the standard poly twill as advertised on the FS website. Someday I'd like to have it replaced with a plain cotton, as I dont really trust this satiny poly stuff. It has a tendency to snag and then run like a womans stocking. Thanks all of you for all the kind words, and yes they are ra...

One last thing
I forgot one other thing. There were a couple of places where threads and knots looked a little loose. Heres a trick I learned while tying flys, add a tiny drop of nail polish clear coat to any knot to keep them secure indefinetly. If it works on a fly sailing through the air at 500mph, it should wo...

The best representation of the color is 'Expedition35', the very last one with the DVD case. So dark its almost black in nearly every light. I dont know about sun as this is Ohio and its Jan. Are Whips actually legal?
Has anyone ever checked to see if whips are legal? Can you just carry them around wherever you want? I'm sure it varys from state to state, just like handguns, but I wouldnt even know where to begin looking to find out for sure. I would assume that since they are so obscure and almost forgotten that...

I have never had a professional fitting. Maybe I should?... I hate mens clothing stores, the employees work on commission, so they badger you to death untill you actually buy something. Thanks, M. Hearing that they run true to size is a big load off. I would actually not mind it being longer, if that means the sleeves will be ok. Could it be? The dynamic duo from Detroit? Jack has a love of anything 'old-timey'. He worships old '30's bluesman like Robert Johnson and Blind Willie McTell. He makes everyone on his road crew wear a fedora. He has been seen at award shows sporting bowlers, and when I saw them perform in Detroit l...
