Hey man, I just got my Magnoli shirt too!!! (Now with pics)
Woke up this morning after a nice well deserved lie-in, to find a fed-ex package waiting!! By the size and weight I knew just what it was, my shirt! I've been waiting quite a spell for this sweetie. I placed my order somewhere around the 1st week of Dec or so, but this was sure worth the wait. If you dont have one already, order one now!! The fit, even though I believe I gave Magnoli some erroneous measurements, is great. It goes great with my new Expedition. It will be even better after a couple of washes. I'll post some pics in a few minutes.

That last one was with a different setting on the camera, I should have taken them all with it. It better represents the color. I'm a little disappointed with the buttons. I was expecting plain grey to match the shirt better. These are straight up TOD buttons. I suppose I can have them replaced fairly easily though.

The pics are very helpful. The only one that I can think of that you left out, is one of you wearing it shown from the rear so we can see how it looks in the back. It appears that we have another great shirt to choose from. Which color did you order? If I am not mistaken, it is available in several colors.
Color/material
The color is stone, as recomended by Magnoli. This is exactly the color I would have chosen If I were making Indy shirts. In most of the pics it looks too grey, and in the last one, although it shows more of the 'khaki' shades, it is still a bit too khaki-ish. It is, in person, somewhere in between. MAN, it is tough getting the colors captured properly on a dig. camera! Anyway. It is in my opinion, 100% screen accurate. (Other than the buttons, which I otherwise actually like. Especially with the contrasting thread. Very vintage. ) The cloth itself is also exactly what I would have chosen. This is not safari cloth, nor is it so thin that you cant wear it without a manzier. It would be very comfortable on a hot cairo day, chasing masked assasins. All in all, I give this shirt a 9 for screen accuracy, and a 10 in general. It is finely made, probably the finest made shirt I own, and it is the perfect size. Sleeves, perfect length. It is nice and long for tucking in, and it looks even better un tucked. It is nice and close through the chest, just like Indy's. The back length is just fine, and I was worried because I gave Magnoli the wrong measurement. I measured from my collar to my belt, not all the way down past the glutes. Fortunately he must have noticed and compensated for my mistake, because it fits fine.
I'd really like to get out all the gear and do some more photos, but with this cast...

Yea that looks awsome, how do like the feel of the material. Awsome isn't it.
Indi Magnoli has plenty of colors to choose from, when I ordered mine I asked for some swatches of 4 colors I might order in the future. With quality of this shirt it'll probably be in the near future.
Your buttons look to the same as mine and your eppulets look similar in length, I think to be more screen accurate they need to be shorter.
My next shirt will have some adjustments
Any that looks great on ya and I'm glad to see another board mebmer with one, I think that makes three, thanks for the pic's

I wish. Its just your ordinary work related stress fracture. Is there an adventurous story behind your arm cast?
I had a fiberglass splint on it for 3 days while I waited to see a specialist. The emergency doctor couldnt tell if I had an actual break, or some kind of tendonitis. The splint was small enough that my jacket slid right over it, but this cast is ginormous. No way is my Exp. big enough to go over it. No leather jacket wearing for 6 weeks. I was actually wearing my Magnoli shirt while they were putting the cast on, and it slowly began to dawn on me that as the cast got bigger and bigger, I wasnt sure if my shirt sleeve was going to be able to fit over it! I began to panic silently! Luckily, when I got home I found the sleeve was just big enough to get it off. I like the Magnoli shirt a lot, but not for 6 weeks straight, (and no showers I might add).
Great shirt. I've asked Indy M. to send some color swatches. Since these are made of lighter weight material, they would be good for the Texas summer when I visit the grandbabies.
Do the shirts have a roll up tab on the sleeve? I've always liked this feature.
I suppose that Indy M could do it, though.
Best regards,
Prof. Ed
