And here's me wearing my Wested in winter, taken 2 years ago I think. If you're wearing something warm underneath, you'll be all right with lamb. Just watch your step, because those Aldens can be pretty treacherous in the snow.

Cool pics, Raider! Congrats on the new acquisition!
You know, back in 2000 when I ordered my Wested lambskin, Peter wrote to me it would be the first one in Poland. Now there are 2 (that I know of)! :D

Well, Szybka Paczka wanted 140% of the jacket's value, believe it or not. That was back in 2000. I checked with customs regulations and it turned out that the rate for British-made goods was 0%, so one aggressive letter and a phone call later I ended up paying only 116 zl (about $25). Check the regu...

Here's a different pic from the same shoot, published in US magazine in 1981. In "The Making of Raiders", you can see the photo shoot with Karen Allen taken with a white background, and she's wearing her Bantu Wind gown. Harry's shoot was probably done around the same time. And the shoot m...

Michaelson, maybe it would be a good idea to contact Airborne ahead of time and let them know you're awaiting shipment? "I'm watching you" sort of thing.
BTW, the holdup might have also been connected with the strike at Heathrow.

Also, the Wested has one feature that the FS has not - it is custom made. I own both, and while my FS (thanks Indiana Joe) is really a great product, it is an off-the-rack jacket. But when I put on my Wested, I can FEEL it was made for me. So I'd call it a draw, sort of.
