Yep. I've had MANY hats in between over the years mind you, but Steve and Marc's are at the top in my experience. A direct step from 84 Stetson to AB Deluxe could be fatal. :shock:

I've always thought the Browning was a stand-in for the 45 Auto (mentioned in the script). Seem to remember something about the Browning being well-suited for blanks compared to the Colt ... or maybe I dreamed that up?

Time and wear should do the trick. Thats been my experience with polish and Pecards anyway. I also did not like the initial brightness, but at the same time didn't want the stitching to be too dark.

My advise is to just wear em for a while and let them lighten back up naturally.

It doesn't really look that bad to me, apart from some of the "striping" seen in the right sleeve pic. Overdone with sandpaper, perhaps, but still salvageble IMO. Work in some Pecards (you may want to experiment with some boot oil) and you'll probably be fine.

For me its the overhead/horizontal. Man, I can't believe it took me so long to master but for some reason I struggled with it. Thanks, in part to Stenhouse's DVD, I finally got it and it is LOUD. :shock:
