Re: The Penman post 'em up Pages....The Adventure Continues...
That is actually the leather holster for the U-Dig-It folding trowel that Alan Grant has on his belt. I just haven’t dyed the leather and removed the brand name yet to make it 100% accurate. I had removed the shovel to get into Disney and later in the day haphazardly stuffed my sunglasses in it.

Thank you Bear! I’d love to pull some Rick O’Connell influences into my gear. As of now, this look is a mix of Indy (Hat, shirt, belt), Alan Grant of Jurassic Park (neckerchief, compass pouch, shovel pouch, and leatherman), and the bag of Poe Dameron.

I guess I was under the impression my LC was in thin horsehide as well. But I went back through my emails and found that mine is also the standard, which was referred to as "Chocolate Premium Horsehide" for the rest of our communications. Either way, I'm fully satisfied with it. The color ...

Thank you for the kind words! The drape of the trousers comes entirely from having pants way too large. I’ve lost a good 30 pounds since I got those pants in 2021. I had to really bunch them together and hope the web belt would stay!

I am extremely happy to report the end of this saga! The 1936 8ft bullwhip is finally in my possession having been delivered today. This was the last bit of gear I needed to complete my collection. Paul originally quoted my 4-6 weeks when I placed my order, just 76 weeks and 5 days later it arrived!...

Not exactly an ETA, but he said he was starting on a big batch of 1936 whips in the next week (this was on Nov 2, so presumably last week) and that my whip would be included in that batch. Although he said a similar thing in May, so I'm not sure.
