These are the threads my Bride laughs at me over.
"Aren't you guys all interested in the rugged manly nature of the character?"
"Of course, My Sweet, but a good shawl neck cardigan keeps you toasty warm in the winter too."

It says 'wool' at the first bullet point near the bottom.Mitch LaRue wrote:HEY!
If you wear either an XL or an XXL, go to Amazon.com and Search under "Ben Sherman Men's Long Sleeve Shawl Collar Sweater"
It's a pretty nice looking Close Enough in a color I love called "Almond Marl"...
No mention of exactly what material it IS, though... but it sure looks pretty good.
No, they say it's baby camel hair... Something Indy may have wornAdventure Dog wrote:Wonder why it's so expensive? Mammoth wool.![]()

It doesn't appear to have a folded down collar, although it is knitted to appear that way.Indiana Croft wrote:Thoughts any one on this one.has some potential.

Croft, that's a great looking sweater (he says while checking his wallet).Indiana Croft wrote:As promised, here's some pic's the misses just took.
Tried on the Med & Sm back and fourth, back and fourth. And where I typicaly take a M, I opted for the S this time. Why you ask, let me explain. All my other cardigans when worn with the jacket hang to far past the jacket and I feel as though it should just be past the bottom. Just my nickels worth.![]()
I don't think that's ever been discovered. The picture is from the Young Indy Chronicles TV show. The show was struggling with viewership so GL asked HF to make a cameo to bookend the Mystery of the Blues episode. HF was filming The Fugitive at the time, hence the beard. IIRC The Fugitive was released in 92 or 93.lantzn wrote:Has anyone figured out what vintage brand/model the MotB cardigan was? I've scanned numerous thread about this sweater and I see conversations, links and photos of only close enoughs. When was the pic of HF taken? I've never seen the video. The stuff on Netflix doesn't seem to have it.
