The Raiders pattern I know they don't. I was under the impression they have the LC pattern still. Is this just a case of the original LC pattern not matching what people see on screen again? I'm under the assumption that like the Raiders jackets, the LC jackets were made in a hurry to meet scheduli...

This is getting too off-topic. I'm trying to help because it took me A LOT of research through this forum to find exactly where to measure on a jacket, and I never did find many pictures. The proper way to measure jacket sizing

Well, I'm in the process of getting the measurements together for a custom Wested order. I went to the mall today and grabbed a leather jacket off of the rack to measure it and decide what I needed to add or subtract to it. I measured it in the fitting room. I had to take two pictures for each measu...

Also, are the really any differences between Peter's ToD pockets and the LC pockets?

Also, what is the worn look hide that Wested now carries?

Thanks!

I already contacted Hatsdirect before I posted here. Ron's out of the office for the next day so in the meantime I'm trying to decide whether to go with a 57.5 or larger in order to turn it.

Actually, ichnob, there are actually size differences between each individual hat. A 58 could be a small 58 or a large 58... That's why I'm having them measure a hat that will fit my ad perfectly.

Need a quick answer (Akubra)

I'm ordering a Fed IV. My head measures 57.5 cm. I'm planning on giving the hat the Raiders Turn and bashing it off-center. Am I going to need a hat that measures larger than 57.5 cm? Or will a hat that measures 57.5 cm give the proper brim distortion without it being too tight on me?

Thanks!

But IMO an Indy style fedora is more of a casual hat, again, similar to a cowboy hat that has seen it's share of labor (especially if your Indy style fedora is well-worn and/or weathered). I don't see that. If you have a hat covered in Fuller's Earth, maybe, but then again Indiana Jones wore button...

I agree with Chewbacca. I think you have to own the hat and not let the hat own you. If you wear a dress shirt, a fedora completes the look. Vegeta (I think that's his screen name) posted a pic of himself around page 7 of the Fed IV picture thread. His shirt goes WELL with his fedora. His hat doesn'...
