I received my 11s for my meassured and proven size 9.5 feet. Fit is great. Boots are actually quite comfy. I wore them around the yard doing some work and I'm sure they are going to be just fine.
Very nice boot. :)

PS. Size 10 still available in Cairo Bazaar

Yes. I normally wear a 9.5 shoe; ordered 10; to small. I just bought 11s out of Cairo Bazzar. I too usually wear anything from a 9-10, closer to the 10 end of the spectrum. Would you guys advise that I go with an 11? That was my experience. I have several issued military boots in 9.5. The 10s were ...

I've got a Peter Bro's myself and am very happy with it. I did have to stretch it just a touch. (probably a poor measure job by me.) But, very happy with the hat.
Congrats

Bothans, yep smack in the middle of Clarksville. Not sure which "statue-things" you're talking about. But, I could try to find out the story. The Wested is still fine. I Just decided it's time to move up. Truth is, I got the "pre-distressed" when I bought it in the late 90s. And...

Thanks for the feedback guys. The Hat is a Peter Bros 50/50 (beaver / rabbit). Kentucky Blues; Ft Campbell, KY. is actually mostly in TN. But, the post office is on the KY side. Depending on where you are on Ft. Campbell, KY you may be in TN. Therefore IMHO it is stuck between TN and KY. Of course I...

I ordered a dark seal goat (2 actually to get the sizing right) and they said 3-4 weeks.
They told me about Mid August. They were out of stock in the size I ordered. So, it has to be made.
Actually, I believe she said the 18th.

Well, I did it.

After looking at all the beautifull jackets here I was so motivated that I just submitted my order for a G&B Dark Brown Goat to go along with or replace my old Wested.
Of course the other half doesn't know what I've done yet. (Another post I'm sure.)
Now the wait.

Cracking in Nashville

Are there any other whip crackers / Indy gear fans here in the (general) Nashville area that ever get together. I'm up here in Clarksville, TN. And, I've seen some others in the area (from location under the Avatars). Is there ever a gathering place or time to get together? If not is that something ...

I got a pair of the Wested and found them very comfortable and well made. Comfortable enough to be an "every day" wear. I have no experience with the Magnoli's but have heard nothing but good things about them. It's probably going to boil down to personal prefference and price range you're...

Is it too late to get in on this?
I know I may not get one of the original 27. But, I would be interested in one. Even if it's one of the unfinished provided there is a color guide to come with it.
BTW, fantastic workmanship.
