Re: screenused just sold the Indy Raiders gun!

You're right Desi! Guns jump up and shoot people all by themselves every day. Things are always in the news about guns just "going off". Be careful that kitchen stove doesn't walk over and burn someone. All in fun. PLEASE have a sense of humor.

I have an HJ, an Akubra Fed lV and an Optimo. I recieved a new Keppler blend hat a while ago, and I'm really fond of it. The new felt is as soft as the Optimo, but a bit less stiff. Lee told me he had to special order the ribbon to get it dark brown enough. And you don't have to bash it yourself. I ...

Slydini, I'd like to see some more pics of your TN. I saw the one Lee Keppler sent to Peter in the mid 1980's to jog his memory away from what he refered to as the "Bellhop" jacket. I took some pics at the QM last year of it which unfortunatly were lost with my camera recently, but the yol...

Train Travelers--Lee has a few in stock!

Lee has a few Train Travelers in stock. I happened to call as he is having severe computer problems and was told that a package of TT's came in and he has an extra quantity of 1-7 1/8, 1-7 1/4 and 1-7 3/8. Get ahold of him at 619-647-6744, as he found his phone again.

I agree with Dr. Ulloa. My Keppler is going on 4 years old. and it just keeps on truckin'. Neither rain, nor snow, or dark of night will stay this hat...oh, sorry. that's the post office motto!. And, yes I have a new Keppler on order. Love the new look. May get a gray too. Can't wait.

The angle the belt is at in the screen grab makes it look narrow. Where did NH come up with two narrow keepers??? Hi's buckle looks good, but the SG of the wide keeper is on the same page. Tsk, tsk, NH.

Ribbon width

Just looking for opinions on ribbon width. The Raiders fedora is supposed to have a width of 39mm, right? A 1 1/2" is 38mm. would a 42mm be OK with the 5 1/2" crown, or am I being way too picky?
