Re: Fed IV "Heritage Fawn"

Here are photos I had of my Tawny Fawn over in the Fed IV display thread, my tawny gets the most wear of the two, I guess I am a beige type of guy...love the color, I wish they had this particular color in the heritage though...the brown on the right is a fed III heritage... http://im1.shutterfly.co...

John, if you have not done this yet, give it a try, the hat can take it - take it off throw it across the room or on the couch then jump on it, sit on it, I actually went further and popped out the crown and just used it as a punching bag for about 5 minutes, then balled it up a couple of times (jus...

with the fed IV, you really don't need to spray it with water, it dry bashes into a LC style very easy and quickly, I only use the water technique to get really tight pinches like the raiders style...

The Fed IV takes a perfect LC bash right out of the box...takes about 60 seconds to bash it, I left mine like this for a couple of days before misting down with water to get the tighter raiders pinch....

Iowa, that is unusual, my fed IV was almost like cardboard when I first received it, much more so than my fed III, had to work it extra hard to soften it up to take my bash, getting pretty soft now though...man I felt like I could have given Oddjob a run for his money with his razor-edged bowler
