While antiquing today I came across two small vintage fedoras for a very agreeable price. I snatched them up and after reblocking them using a cereal bowl I wet them down with a Febreze/water mix and rebashed them for my girls. I gave my old Stetson Temple to Mom and now we all have adventure hats:

Those are great! Where did you find them around here? And the cereal box block is fantastic!

Great picture Luke!
Your girls sure look happy.
BTW, Has anyone asked what those little yellow triangles on your pictures are? Sorry if I missed the explanation.

If you haven't printed this photo off on some quality photo paper, framed it and hung it on your wall, you need your head examined!!!!!
That's GREAT!!! and a memory I assure you that you will enjoy for years to come.
I'm serious....print and frame this photo. I have one hanging in my living room from a different situation of my two girls when they were about your girls age. Now that they are grown and gone, it brings back fond memories everytime I look at it.
HIGH regards, and a tip of my fedora to you, sir!

Heck, I'm thinking of printing that out and adding it to my wall of fame here in Rindge.

Look at the gorgeous color on that Stetson Temple!! Why can't Akubra come up with a Federation color like that?

I also love the color of the Stetson. It's that taper that kills me. Looks good on the Mrs., though.

Beautiful...Man, I wished I got a fedora when I was a kid. I did ask my mom, since she ran the household, and said that girls don't wear "men's hats."

Great photo! It belongs hanging on your wall, framed. You got very lucky with the 2 small fedoras and your girls look fantastic in them. The old Stetson looks great on your wife too, what a really wonderful family portrait...

Great photos, all of them. The monkey shot had me laughing out loud. What fun! Archive all of them. The kids grow up way too fast. Those are precious.

Well with the inspiration I made my $15, wool felt, taperd, teardrop crown fedora into a closer looking model of the raiders fedora. Exept the taper
but I should be getting an AB or Federation IV
. I'll at least have a hat to wear to KOTCS.

Look at some old movies from the 30's. Women wore tapered, petite like Fedora's.

The Lady does indeed look fantastic. I think the Temple is quite suitable for many, and even though it's not The Raiders Hat, it is a great fedora and much better choice for some.

wow, that's a great photograph. I kid you not, I had already been saying for awhile that when I have a family I want them all to have fedoras.
And your family photo showed me how AWESOME it would be.
